What is Airborne Disinfection ?

Airborne disinfection is a disinfecting method for the different surfaces in a room. It consists in spraying in the air a disinfecting product via a diffuser.

The advantage with the Airbone-Disinfection is that the operator is unnecessary. It can thus be carried out at night not to disrupt the lab, food factory, train or classroom daytime activities.

Moreover, this method enables to disinfect all surfaces in air contact. Indeed the DSVA is carried out in tight air spaces and the product should be sprayed to fill until saturation of the room with a dry fog.

HOW TO MAKE SURE OF THE PROCESS EFFICIENCY ?

A standard, NF T 72-281, for airborne disinfection allows the certification of the pair diffuser/product. This standard enables to measure the bactericide, fungicide and sproricide properties/activities.

attention
Caution, the pair diffuser/product can obtain satisfactory results for the bactericide component but that does not imply similar results for the fungicide and sporicide activities.

This standard can be issued by an accredited lab COFRAC (French committee for accreditation). Here is the test room for the IRM lab certified COFRAC for the NF T 72-281 standard that IBL Specifik has obtained with the pair AIRBIO/APABIO 100 on all activities (bactericide, fungicide and sporicide).
