Of the existing technologies for airborne disinfection devices, compressed air, steam and the vortex turbine are the most commonly used. This is known as fogging, vaporising or misting disinfection.
Disinfection by fogging "Dry" (incorrect term for surface wetting) is a DSVA technique.
It consists of projecting a disinfectant product in very fine droplets into the atmosphere, using a device: the mister.
The resulting mist will be deposited on all surfaces of the workpiece in contact with air. They will therefore be disinfected, by humidification, but without being wet.

With an adjustable flow rate. Simply set the timer and then start the machine before leaving the room for the time the product is diffused and then the time the disinfectant contacts the surfaces. Moreover, the disinfectant mist will act in the whole room, which will ensure the total disinfection of all the surfaces in the room by contact with air. What's more, the effectiveness of our system has been validated by the award of the NFT72-281 standard.
The Disinfection equipment ofIBL Specifik are used with the disinfectant APABIO. It is a disinfectant based on hydrogen peroxide. This type of molecule is included in the list of substances authorised by the Order of 8 September 1999 listing "the processes and products used for the cleaning of materials and objects intended to come into contact with foodstuffs, products and drinks for human and animal consumption".
The decomposition ofAPABIO will lead to the release of free oxygen. The latter will oxidise the organic matter present in the environment or will recombine to form oxygen. Once the reaction is complete, only : 2 H2O2 → 2 H2O + O2
It should be noted that it is, for the most part, this oxidising power that gives the mixture its biocidal potential. Indeed, free oxygen acts as a disrupter of the equilibrium of the phospholipid double membrane of microorganisms.
The hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) est un liquide incolore facilement miscible dans l’eau. L’APABIO est plus précisément un mélange de peroxyde d’hydrogène (< 8 %) couplé à de l’peracetic acid (< 0,2%). Ces deux composés sont connus depuis plusieurs années comme étant d’excellents désinfectants. Cette capacité a d’ailleurs été mise en évidence par plusieurs scientifiques (Stampi et al., 2001, Lambert et al., 1999 et Bonadonna et al., 1999), sur leur aspect bactéricide, virucide et fongicide. Le peroxyde d’hydrogène a un effet synergique sur l’acide peracétique. The APABIO disinfectant combines both substances, increasing its biocidal effectiveness.
