Because hot air is lighter than cold air, the mist of steam and disinfectant will rise rapidly in the atmosphere before falling back onto all the surfaces in contact with the air. However, unlike compressed air, steam disinfection increases the humidity level in the room. For applications where the humidity level in the room must not exceed certain values, compressed air is preferable.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"faq-question-615eb03435cb6\" class=\"rank-math-list-item\">\n<h3 class=\"rank-math-question\">Can the machines be used with or without operators?<\/h3>\n<div class=\"rank-math-answer\">\n\n<p>The AIRBIO compressed air disinfection machine can be used without human intervention. The disinfection operation can therefore be carried out at night or at weekends to minimise the time the premises are out of use. The STAMBIO steam disinfection machine can be used with or without an operator, depending on the application. To reach certain areas, it may be useful to use it in manual mode with a hose (e.g. to disinfect the inside of a machine tool, a ventilation duct, etc.). It can also be used fully automatically, like the AIRBIO, to disinfect your premises at night or at weekends.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"faq-question-615eb03435cb7\" class=\"rank-math-list-item\">\n<h3 class=\"rank-math-question\">Why disinfect with machines rather than sprays?<\/h3>\n<div class=\"rank-math-answer\">\n\n<p>The airborne disinfection technique is much more effective than conventional disinfection by directed dispersal (sprays). The disinfectant mist generated by the machine will spread over all the surfaces in contact with the air, over areas that an operator cannot necessarily reach. A disinfection operation meets precise objectives, and to obtain a satisfactory result, it must be carried out in compliance with a standard. A machine will always repeat the same operation, whereas a physical operator will not always provide the same efficiency.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"faq-question-615eb03435cb8\" class=\"rank-math-list-item\">\n<h3 class=\"rank-math-question\">What other machines are available on the market?<\/h3>\n<div class=\"rank-math-answer\">\n\n<p>There are other manufacturers of machines for airborne surface disinfection, and prices vary from one manufacturer to another. How can you explain this difference and find out if the price is justified? You need to start by checking that the supplier has obtained the aerial disinfection standard, NF T 72-281, and that the laboratory that carried out the tests is COFRAC accredited.
